POOL is an exploration of new ways to gather around the complicated precarity and injustice unveiled by COVID 19. By hosting thematic conversations in thoughtful ways, we can collaborate with labour organizers, artist/activists, and social justice scholars who have transitioned their work to and from distanced spaces. In keeping with these interests, we understand the work of change to be difficult and frustrating, we are interested in creating spaces for growth where humor, play, and rest create sustainable and celebratory working conditions. The first iteration of POOL was a collaboration between Annie Canto, Nura Ali and Jean Chisholm with support from Bopha Chhay.
